Ever since Simon Sinek’s “How great leaders inspire action” TED talk went viral, and his message of “start with WHY” spread like wildfire it’s common for entrepreneurs and leaders to spew this mantra like gospel to anyone who’s willing to listen.
“Start with Why” has also become a common marketing technique for many business owners to try and attract customers to them but there’s one problem – it doesn’t work if one key ingredient is missing…
If you’re not LIVING your Why, then you’re faking it and people will pick up on it real quick.
That means you’ll lose credibility real fast, and you’ll develop a different reputation – one of being untrustworthy.
